The past few days at The BPM Festival have been filled with endless parties at the beautiful Playa Del Carmen. Monday brought one of the best day parties of the week with Maeve and Mano Le Tough, DJ Tennis and Baikal The Drifter at Fusion nightclub. With the dance floor in the sand, and an intimate atmosphere, this party’s vibe set the tone.
Later that night, it was time to get loco at the Circo Loco event at the Blue Parrot with the Martinez Brothers, Dyed Soundorom, Dan Ghenacia, Jackmaster, Shonky, Black Coffee and DJ Qu. As always the energy was high as the night started off with Black Coffee and his mystical beautiful set –many people were curious as to who was on the decks, as his music was hypnotic and dreamy. Jackmaster and Shonky played B2B followed by Martinez Brothers who brought in the sunrise to a new day.
Over at La Santanera, Smoke n’ Mirrors featured Justin Martin, Thugfucker, Marcus Worgull, Job Jobse, Shiny Objects and davia. Up-and-coming artist Job Jobse stole the spotlight with his deep melodic set. This is one artist you’ll want to keep an eye on.
Tuesday, Dynamic took over with Solomun, Adriatique, H.O.S.H. ,Thyladomid and Magdelena at the Blue Parrot, transforming the place with his euphoric set, as his selection of music always seems to take guests on a journey. This event was top notch. Over at the Blue Venado Beach Resort, Used & Abused with Loco Dice, Guiti (live), Hector, Robert Dietz, Shokny and Vaal took place. A venue set right on the beach, in between Playa Del Carmen and Tulum – makes for an adventure to get there. Deep in the jungle, guests took safari style shuttle busses to their final destination. Pummelling Techno echoed through the dark road on the way to the event leading to paradise. Guests could hang out on the beach, sit on the swings at the bar, and get up and in the dance floor. A dark setting with a blue strobe set the mood along with the sounds of Dice.
