With 20+ years in the game, and a diverse background with music, Dino Lenny is always coming out with new projects. His most recent work, “This is Not the End” EP released on his label Fine Human Records, features two tracks.
In his first track “This is not the End”, to start the flow of things he gets into an uplifting melodic rhythm. As he brings in his vocals, the beat transitions into a groovier darker sound. The track definitely shows his roots in his days with the group Underworld.
His second track “Headphones On” has more wobbly tech sound. As the song plays on, Lenny goes back and forth from a futuristic progressive feel to that wobbly groove with a floating minimal melody, while including his vocals once again. Towards the end of the song a nice dreamlike keyboard break comes in, then goes back into the tech. Listen above!
