NEWS: Electric Forest 2015 Lineup Released

After the much anticipated wait, Insomniac and Madison House Presents phase 1 of the Electric Forest 2015 lineup, and it does not disappoint: Skrillex, Bassnectar, Kaskade, Flume, Claude Von Stroke, Peter Tong, Flux Pavillion, Odesza, Shpongle, Gramatik, Paul Oakenfold, Illenium, Minnesota, Snails, Slow Magic, Vaski, Wave Racer, and so many more.

Electric Forest is held every last weekend of June in Rothbury Michigan, on a beautiful farmland JJ Ranch that is transformed into an enchanted forest filled with performers, artists, and musicians. There’s secret stages within the woods left for exploring, a water park at the back of the venue with a pool and slides to cool off and relax, lots of amazing foods like a Grilled Cheese bus and Taco stands, art vendors inside the venue and the camp grounds. I never encountered a single rude person the entire festival in 2014, and that’s something I can’t say for my local festivals. The amount of generosity and love at this festival is overwhelming and legitimately restored my faith in humanity. They even have signs upon entry saying “Welcome Home”.

The trip to Michigan is well worth the drive, and with the first phase of artists now announced, the nearly sold out  GA camping tickets won’t last. If you’re contemplating joining the 2015 Forest Fam, you better decide quick!

Even the artists like Skrillex can’t contain their excitement for the lineup, who leaked his news yesterday via twitter but deleted it soon after.
