Remember that unofficial summer anthem from 2013, Take Me Home, by Cash Cash? Well now the boys are back their new single, Surrender, and it’s no surprise that it’s going to invade dance floors. Clocking in at three and a half minutes, the trio utilizes the same formula that brought them success with their 2013 single—synths, electro-pop, and powerful female vocals. That powerful mix is what initially brought the group success, and we won’t be surprised if Surrender does the same.
With a strong tempo and upbeat powerful chords and vocals, Surrender is a reminder of the memories we made last summer, and allows us to feel one stop closer to summer this year. Given the terrible freezing temperatures that we’ve had to experience, the song is a nice reminder of warmer, longer, better days. Although I’m not the biggest electro-pop fan out these, I believe that this song has the potential to really do well, just like Cash Cash’s first single did. We’re looking forward to hearing a lot more from these boys, and definently looking forward to what this trio will release next.
Cash Cash is a group that has been making various leaps in the music industry since their inception in 2002. They’ve worked with an exceptional roster of artists and musicians, including The Goo Goo Dolls and Bruno Mars. After gaining more exposure in 2013 with the help of Hardwell and Nicky Romero, the group secured a deal with Atlantic/Big Beat Records. Check out Surrender above!
