The Viiith Day is a community in Hamilton featuring all organic artists, producers, videographers, events and so much more. The first event was held at Gage Park in October 2014, featuring a lineup of all Hamilton artists, many of which are more than excited to return for this year’s much anticipated explosion of success.

Now, The Viiith Day is launching their very own studio, where their artists will have a home base to create and promote their works, by taking advantage of services like Graphic + Web Design, Photography + Videography, and Recording Studios. This is huge for Hamilton, as we are taking the reigns on the shift from being known as Steel City to the city of Arts & Culture.

Alex Gunby is a 17-year-old Hamilton producer who’s heavily influenced by Borgore and Deadmau5, but has the support of artists Sikdope, Victo Niglio, Zaxx, and Thugli. Gunby has played at festivals A MidSummers Dream, Supercrawl, Art Crawl, and The Viiith Day. He’s one of the youngest rising producers in Hamilton, and will be opening at 9 p.m. for the studio launch!

Mathematic will be playing a back-to-back set with AgNO3 at the Viiith day Launch party. Mathematic plays everything from Porter Robinson to Gesaffelstein, not to go without mentioning his original material as well.  AgNO3 has played at Toronto Bass Community’s Low Frequency Wednesdays a couple times in Toronto, played many Hamilton Rave Community events, and has huge support ever since his collaborated track Pure Sunlight was released on MonsterCat. Mathematic and AgNO3 make for a deadly combination, and I’m very eager to see them play together.

Fruiti is one of the chillest dudes in the Hamilton scene. He’s a resident DJ for Hamilton’s Saturday night Baltimore House events called the Night Drive, and he really knows how to reel in the right crowd and show us a good time. I had the pleasure of being on stage while he performed next to Edubs last year at The Viiith Day at Gage Park. Their set was pure fire. Edubs plays the best of house and bass, with wubbs that are so deep he’ll harness the inner shuffler inside you. You’re not going to want to miss this b2b set!

SAVY is an 18-year-old Hamilton producer, who’s played at Acid Lounge in Toronto’s beloved Guvernment Nightclub (Rest in Peace), The Viiith Day festival, and much of Hamilton underground. He has the support from artists Victo Niglio, Leon Boiler and PUSHER. He plays anything from Future Bass and Deep House to progressive house.  B2b with SAVY the night of the Launch party is Matstubs, another Hamilton favourite, is not only a producer but a vocal activist! His lastest EP Sonder is available for download, and all the proceeds go to feeding and clothing the homeless! Can’t wait to see what these two come up with in their set March 13th!

Markquis shall be headlining the event and making us all very proud. Hamilton born producer has packed up and moved to LA, but hasn’t forgotten our beloved city. He’s moved up the Beatport charts for Progressive House, and makes killer electro-house remixes, many of which are free for download on his SoundCloud!
