One of the biggest acts that set the psytrance scene in vibration during the noughties at 145 BPM is finally descending to the shores of Toronto on April 25th, 2015, at Li’ly Lounge. Mark your calendars for a night of Bizzare Contact as Didy Ezra, the 29-year old musical prodigy from Dimona, Israel brings you high frequency melodies and foot-stomping beats at varied BPMs; he is going to introduce Toronto, Canada and the rest of the world to his new “psygressive” (progressive psytrance) sound under the alias Royal Flush.
After successfully hosting events for Vibrasphere, Protonica, Talamasca, Shane Gobi and many other psytrance artists in the past couple of years, Progressive Monkey looks all set to add another feather to their cap. If the past events are anything to go by, one wouldn’t want to miss this event for the world. The intimate dance floor at Li’ly Lounge will seem more intimate this night as the Toronto psy-heads will takeover with grace and joyful faces.
Keeping the mixing deck warm for Didy and the dancefloor hot, will be our local heroes, Sara Dopstar, MagicMushroom and Lumen (Live).
One of the reasons that the Israeli Morning Psytrance movement of the 2000’s was so delightful and melodic is Bizzare Contact, and he’s coming to Toronto; only one question remains. How much of Toronto is coming to get bizzare?
