The #SubcultureWeekender is about to blow the freaking roof off of New York. Oh yes, because on Apr 25th, 2015, John O’Callaghan and Esscala will deliver one of the best trance lineups that New York has ever seen.. and Toronto will be there full force. That’s right, it’s #SubcultureNYC 2015 at the Best Buy Theater.

JOC returns to NYC to play along with a killer Subculture roster of DJs chosen by John himself! The team over at Esscala Entertainment is known for bringing amazing trance events to NYC and putting together a very successful Future Sound of Egypt 350 NYC event last year. They seem to really understand the trance scene and what real trance fans are looking for in an  event. Tickets went on sale on January 21st and there are luckily some left, so be sure to grab your tickets before it is too late.

Keep watching the hashtag #SubcultureNYC on social media, and following the Esscala accounts and EDMNYC, the official media of Esscala Entertainment. The inside info is sure to get you even more excited. Don’t worry, even I, the Manager of #TeamEDMTOR, will be down there and posting updates when possible (damn those international phone rates…grrrr) for all of you back in Toronto missing out.

North America is thought to have some of the most commercial EDM music out there. At times this is true, but it is a place where anything can happen when the right people come together. Take a great concept, add the perfect venue and an unbelievable lineup, and amazing things will happen. Check out below some of those amazing flashback memories from JOC at Best Buy Theatre in 2012!

The Best Buy Theater is a 2100-capacity venue designed by the award-winning architect David Rockwell of the Rockwell Group. The venue officially opened in September 2005, and has the capability to hold a wide array of events, including concerts, live television, web broadcasts, live recordings, award shows and event parties.

The marquee is an 85-foot long LED high definition screen which can display both live and digital video. It is one of the largest marquees on Broadway, and is directly connected to the MTV marquee. Its interactive text messaging capabilities and the ability to broadcast events live from the stage directly to the marquee (in real time) make it truly impressive, to say the least.

We are expecting to see a large amount of the Toronto TranceFamily present in NYC for this one, it’s going to be INSANE.
