TRACK REVIEW: Slow Magic Remixes Kodak To Graph’s “IAMANTHEM”

0

Slow Magic and Kodak to Graph just recently toured together, so it’s really special to see a remix done in appreciation of each others musical talents. If you’re unfamiliar with the artists, Slow Magic is really upbeat euphoric music based on imagination, unlimited possibilities, and capturing experiences into sounds words can never explain.

Kodak To Graph is an amazing soundscape artist who makes music from real life recordings of recognizable sounds, such as dogs barking or cars going by. Turning these noises into trippy beats that tell a story is such an amazing talent alone.

The blend of these two artists together as a listener brings me a lot of joy. The build in the beginning of IAMANTHEM feels like trap, but drops like future bass with many elements of indie. The singular lyric throughout the track that is really catching on to fans goes, “one thing ‘bout music is when it hits you feel no pain,” and I’m pretty sure the rest of the song speaks for itself at that point. This song functions as a piece of art that speaks to the soul. Hopefully it hits you right in the feels.

I’ll be catching Slow Magic at Electric Forest 2015 so get ready for the full lowdown on his set! I’ve been waiting a really long time to finally see him.

Enjoy the track and discover new artists!
