TRACK REVIEW: Perrelli & Mankoff’s “Gratification” OUT NOW

0

UK boys Chaim Mankoff and Dan Perrelli have paired up for a new collaboration released on Molekular Sounds (RazNitzan Music), titled Gratification. This track blends Mankoff’s uplifting and tech-trance style with Perrelli’s deep melodic style to produce an upbeat and euphoric experience for its listeners. The unique combination of hard hitting 138 bpm beats, complimented with softer melodic tones and keys throughout the build-ups and releases give off an A State of Trance feel to it. The driving arpeggiated synths (meaning a type of broken chord where notes are played one after another in rising order) creates intense rhythmic build-ups that pull the listener in. Personally, I can see this track being played by trance hard hitters like Armin van Buuren or Bryan Kearney on the world stage at major festivals, or mid-marathon set at 5 am when people just won’t stop dancing.

Chaim Mankoff, a DJ and aspiring producer from Newcastle, England spends him time hosting his podcast TranceLife Sessions where more satisfying, or I should say gratifying trance tracks can be found.

Dan Perrelli appears to be a new, up-and-coming producer, also out of Newcastle. His preferred styles are deep melodic house and trance. When these two aren’t hosting podcasts or in the studio, they’re out playing at venues across the country.

Great track from Perrelli and Mankoff! I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for more from these artists!
