If you haven’t already, mark your calendars on July 11th for this year’s edition of the Fullflex Express Tour at Echo Beach. As has almost become a tradition, Skrillex and friends will be touring Canada and making a highly anticipated stop in Toronto. Helmed by power-duo Skrillex and Diplo as Jack U following the massive success of their ‘Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack U’ album, alongside powerhouses Zeds Dead, A$AP Ferg and supported by Tycho, Kiesza, Hundred Waters, Anna Lunoe and Mija, Toronto fans can expect a day packed with funky beats, huge bass and fresh vocals from a slew of performances you won’t want to miss!
This year, rather than headline solo, Skrillex and Diplo will be sharing the stage as their new side project Jack U. Blending hard hitting electronic music with a more relaxed pop vibe with features such as Kiesza, Aluna George and the (in)famous Justin Bieber, Jack U is certain to have something that will make just about anyone want to dance.
Toronto’s own Zeds Dead will be joining the party to the merriment of many. With their huge library of hits ranging from their native dubstep to hard hitting trap and house bangers, it’s anyone’s guess as to what kind of sound goodies Zeds dead will be feeding us.
As one of the pillars of the A$AP Mob, A$AP Ferg’s unique flow undoubtedly will have the crowd asking for just one more verse over and over again. Hailing from New York has been highly active releasing some great hip hop and featuring on countless tracks with some big names in the industry.
The sunshine from Tycho’s home in San Francisco can almost be heard in his music. Bringing us his signature alt-rock inspired beats, Tycho’s refreshing take on electronic music is certain to be a surefire hit on a sunny July day on the beach.
With her striking voice, Calgary native Kiesza has been making waves releasing hit after hit and inspiring countless remixes. It’s no surprise that she will be joining the Fullflex Express tour after her powerful feature on Take U There by Jack U.
With a unique blend of electronic and organic sounds, Gainsville’s own Hundred Waters will bring a more relaxed vibe to the population at Echo Beach. Haunting vocals and aery music can be sure to give the crowd goose bumps and get everyone ready for the rest of the show.
Multi-talented Anna Lunoe joins the lineup delivering her fantastic beats and vocal prowess’s. Equal parts DJ, producer and singer, the Aussie promises to make the crowd sway with her uplifting brand of electro-house.
With a sound that’s difficult to describe but easy to love, we can expect great things from L.A’s Mija. Combining elements of deep house, trap and some minimal sounds, Mija’s particular style is sure to be a spectacular open to a day filled to the brim with an amazing atmosphere and a stellar musical lineup.
