Tonight, two of bass music’s biggest up-and-comers will be taking Toronto by storm for the first time and the anticipation is palpable. With styles that are difficult to categorize into just a few genres, Getter’s unique blends of anything bass related coupled with Habstrakt’s intriguing mixture of dubstep and bass house elements and reinforced by some local talent, any in attendance can expect some serious waves to be made.
Hot off the trail of the recent release of his Allegiance EP with OWSLA, Getter shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. With a selection of music that goes from eerie and ambient tunes to dubstep bangers while sprinkling in some edgy DnB beats, it’s just about anyone’s guess as to what kind of thrills he’ll be giving the crowd.

Habstrakt has been making wobbles that are hard to ignore. With deep house plucks expertly spliced with a heavier dubstep edge and flow, Habstrakt’s set is one no bass fan will want to miss.
Local talent
ZWZ will be getting attendees ready for the main show with a heavy dose a dubstep. With a style that’s reminiscent of earlier Skrillex tunes, ZWZ’s brand of dubstep brings us back to the big dubstep boom of years past. It’ll be a surefire way to get the night going.
Since nothing gets people moving quite as well as drum and bass,
ITEK joins the fun. Two-stepping won’t be an option during this set, the DnB grooves will make sure all in attendance will be dancing and getting pumped for the acts that’ll follow.
As the cherry on top of the sundae, Toronto’s own
Thrizzo will take part in the fray bringing along countless dubstep and deep house remixes of songs ranging from Flicka Da Wrist to Where R U Now. Thrizzo’s addition to the evening is sure to get the evening started in the perfect way.
