Hot Since 82 has released his latest on Saved Records. Play The Room is a hypnotic and heady workout that draws potency from its simplicity. Built around jacking drum machines and a throbbing, relentless wall of bass, the track grows into a powerfully addictive beast through a series of subtle steps. Slight gearshifts in tempo and weight of the bottom end facilitate a much more absorbing sound, pulling us into dubby, warehouse atmospheres. There is a warm a smoggy overtone that will suit summer dancefloors, but combined with a deft musicality that piques the ear.
