From all the way from across the pond, we have UK Trance Producers and DJ duo known as Perrelli & Mankoff. Their latest track Phantom Of The Emperor is delivered by Label Worx on behalf of Critical Uprising from Komplex Sounds. The track is now available at Beatport for purchase and can be found here.
Phantom Of The Emperor is a trance release with an uplifting approach. The track is incredibly smooth from beginning to end, sitting at a healthy 138 BPM. The energy level is not overwhelming but is perfect in the way that it creates a brighter atmosphere.
The breakdown is where this track really shines with its combination of euphoric pads and clean keys leading into a blissful build. The implementation of different drums during transitions in the track effectively add variation and distinct character.
The track was played on Sean Tyas‘ Degenerate Radio Show Episode 36 and has been gaining some proper attention from such an established show. Along with the Phantom Of The Emperor release, Perrelli & Mankoff also have other great content on their SoundCloud. Gratification is another track that stands out from the crowd, it is worthy of a listen as well.
This Producer / DJ duo shows great promise for quality trance in the future, I’ll be keeping tabs on these two.
