EVENT PREVIEW: Markus Schulz @ Beta Nightclub 24-10-15

The world famous Markus Schulz is touring around North America this fall, including a stop at Beta Nightclub in Waterloo on October 24th, 2015.

Trance fans in and around the GTA are very lucky – it’s only been two and a half months since the last time Markus Schulz was in town. Due to Toronto’s curse of terrible festival weather, Veld was an unfortunate disappointment. Schulz came to the rescue with a four hour set at Uniun Nightclub. He spun a great show for an overpacked crowd of wet festival goers who wanted to turn their night around.

Markus Schulz is a German-American trance producer, known amongst his fans as the “unicorn slayer”. He hosts a weekly radio show called Global DJ Broadcast, where millions of listeners have followed his sound since 2002. In 2008, he climbed high on the DJ Mag Top 100 list at #8, and sat comfortably in the top ten for the following three years. Schulz has two side projects he’s been working on over the last several years. Dakota is his alter ego where he experiments with darker themes, different tempos, sounds, and FX. Schulz teamed up with Ferry Corsten (also appearing at Beta Nightclub on November 7th), and the duo created New World Punx, producing tracks such as Who’s Afraid of 1001? and Memories, which have appeared in Schulz’s sets.

Within thirty minutes of being released, ticket sales blew through early birds and the first two pricing tiers. This show is well on its way to selling out, so secure your tickets here before it’s too late! From some of the world’s biggest music festivals to intimate club settings, Schulz does not disappoint. He is known to play open-to-close sets, so we’re curious as to what he and the Beta team have in store for us! Prepare yourselves for a great night of dancing!

It was love at first bass drop. Ashlyn became intensely drawn to the scene after her first show, a passion which has continuously blossomed ever since. Attended Las Vegas’ Electric Daisy Carnival in 2015, an unbelievable magical experience she'll cherish forever. You’ll always find her dancing in the middle of the crowd, connecting with the music, the lights, and the atmosphere. Dream on little dreamers!
