RED Nightclub is offering yet another dedicated trance event to Toronto and its trance family. The club has brought us incredible trance artists in the past including Omnia, Menno De Jong, Sean Tyas, and more. This time, RED welcomes Nate Raubenheimer from South Africa, better known as PROTOCULTURE, who will be dishing out an extended set for the Toronto trance fans.

PROTOCULTURE is currently on a world tour named after his podcast called GRAVITY SOUTH. The tour will reach places across the world like Ukraine, India and South Africa, and of course Toronto, showcasing the best of trance and progressive as heard on the podcast. We should expect to hear some of his massive singles like Perpetual Motion. It is so easy to get lost in this track featuring PROTOCULTURE’s signature progressive style; Perpetual Motion is euphoric, yet deep and gripping at the same time. This track was also featured on Armin Van Buuren’s highly acclaimed Universal Religion series Chapter 6.

That evening we should also expect to hear content from his recent album “Music Is More Than Mathematics”. Pure genius tracks like Axiom, and Talisman are just some examples of what PROTOCULTURE has in store for us. The album also features a track called Northern Light which is a collaboration between PROTOCULTURE, and our very own Shane Halcon, featuring vocals by Jennifer Rene. Shane will be on opening duties along with DJ DEECEE.

Shane Halcon has been heard numerous times in the past putting RED Nightclub’s Funktion One sound system through it’s paces. He has been opening for many of the trance artists at this west end Toronto venue lately, as well as playing numerous closing sets to end the evenings. Shane was born in South Africa; I am sure PROTOCULTURE will embrace this opportunity to play alongside a fellow trance DJ and Producer from the same country.

DJ DEECEE specializes in spinning a multitude of genres ranging from house, trance, techno and trap. The Torontonian has opened for artists like EDX, Blasterjaxx, and Bass Jackers at local shows. DEECEE was also part of RED’s Trance Appreciation night not long ago.

Tickets started at a steal of a show for $5. Toronto trance fans have been quick on their computers to lock in for a solid evening next Friday October 23rd. You should not hold back either, tickets are still available from Wantickets following this link here!
