Erick Morillo is back. Following a string of on-point releases on Subliminal Records from Erick and Harry Romero, and four dates at Space Ibiza, the label and Erick’s mojo are firmly back in business. You might also have caught him at Mixmag’s recent Mixmag Lab in Los Angeles, where he showcased a more tripped-out, underground sound.

Erick Morillo drops a two part “Limitless” EP – the first part of the EP is a hypnotic, white hot techno chugger custom-built for floors big and small and hazes and phases in all the right places. I Want You is the name of the track and its backed with Trapped, a thundering, bubbling club jam that harks back to the spirit of classic X-Press 2 and Danny Tenaglia. With both sides of the EP showing the direction that Erick and the label is going in and with a raft of contemporary remixes of Subliminal classics also coming soon, there’s never been a better time to get Trapped.
