Higher Self introduces his latest release on Musical Freedom, House Music Hustle, which features the deep vocals of Lurker, giving the track a heavy house vibe. Lined with low bass kicks and zapping synths, Higher Self delivers a dance floor ready tune that offers something a bit different.
Only less than a year in the scene, Higher Self has already made a name for himself through his noteworthy productions. Higher Self first got his start with his breakthrough single Ghosts, which was initially signed to Spinnin’ Records, then re-released in the UK by Pete Tong on his resurgent FFRR/Parlophone imprint. The resulting success of the track led to an invitation to play a live guest mix on Radio 1extra. Over the year he has been supported by some of the biggest names in dance music including David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, Steve Angello, and Tiësto. The heavy support from David Guetta and Oliver Heldens resulted in Higher Self touring with David’s Listed Stadium Tour and Oliver’s recent UK tour, along with appearing at massive events like Summerfest in Belgium and the Pool Position Party at Ushuaia, Ibiza. After seeing huge successes this past year with remixes on Ultra, 3Beat and Parlophone, 2016 is poised to be a triumphant year with an upcoming North American tour slated for early next year.
