December 04: Black Coffee // Nick Holder
Classic disco vocals mixed with African-infused beats makes the perfect dance floor combination. A master at this craft is South African house sensation, Black Coffee, who makes his CODA debut on December 4th. Playing alongside Toronto native Nick Holder, the crowd will get a dose of eclectic house music.

December 05: Satoshi Tomiie
An influential name in house music, Satoshi Tomiee has delivered house music anthems since the early 1980’s. Starting his journey in Tokyo, Japan, it was early in his life that he made the move to New York to pursue his dreams. Quickly immersing himself in the New York and North American house music scene, it was his famous production “Tears” produced with Frankie Knuckles in 1989 which really set his career in motion.

It is an absolute pleasure to welcome the return of Satoshi Tomiie to Toronto, playing CODA on December 5th.

December 11: Horse Meat Disco
Since their acclaimed debut compilation on Strut in 2009, residents James Hillard, Jim Stanton, Severino and Luke Howard (aka Filthy Luka) have continued to lead the way with their packed residencies at The Eagle, London, Lux in Lisbon, Tape in Berlin and Cihan in Istanbul. During 2010, as well as revisiting UK festivals like Glastonbury, Lovebox and T In The Park, they will be spreading the disco love to some of the world’s leading festivals.

Horse Meat Disco is dedicated to the industry of human happiness and it pumps it out every Sunday at THE EAGLE LONDON (formerly South Central). Its the queer party for everyone; Homos and Heteros, club kids, bears, fashionistas, naturists, guerilla drag queens and ladies who munch. Musically its a disco behemoth of classics, Italo disco, oddities, punk funk in the friendliest venue south of the river.

Dutch producer Tom Trago returns to Toronto after an amazing experience playing Toronto’s beloved Electric Island this past summer. With massive support from Seth Troxler, Tom Trago has quickly grown his name across the globe, delivering a unique deep house sound to the dance music community.

December 17: 1-800 DINOSAUR
1-800-Dinosaur is a music collective of five producers who have a sophisticated taste in sound and rhythm. Heavily influenced by Jazz and traditional instruments, James Blake, Airhead, Danfort, Klaus, and Mr. Assister have integrated these traditional sounds into todays progressive electronic music.

December 31: UNION Carlo Lio B2B Nathan Barato B2B The Junkies
UNION is a party that has been a staple to Toronto’s underground scene since the early days of Footwork. Carlo Lio, Nathan Barato and The Junkies come together for an open to close night of b2b-b2b-b2b madness! The party brings Toronto’s underground family, from the past to present, together on one dance floor. There’s no other way to ring in a new year, than at the UNION New Years Eve party at CODA!
