TRACKS: Bassjackers & Reez “Rough” Out Now on Musical Freedom

0

Bassjackers return to Tiësto‘s label Musical Freedom for the second time with their collaboration with Reez, a heavy-hitting house track Rough. The track begins with a massive build-up playing off a vocal sample, which drops into a thundering, bass-heavy breakdown contrasted with high pitched synths.

Best friends since high school, DJ, Marlon Flohr, and producer, Ralph van Hilst came together in 2007 to create the Dutch duo known as Bassjackers. Since then, Bassjackers have reached massive new heights in their career with numerous chart-topping bangers and hit collaborations with the likes of Martin Garrix, Afrojack, KSHMR, Dyro, R3hab and Showtek, as well as remixes for A-listers including Rihanna, Enrique Inglesias, Moby and Ne-Yo. At the top of their game, Bassjackers continue to tear up stages worldwide and wow crowds along the way.

Reez consists of Dutch natives Renze Michels and Siem Henskens. Although these 18-year old music producers started out just three years ago, they’ve already managed to shape a strong musical identity. In 2014, the duo started releasing bootleg remixes on Soundcloud to build their profile. Within no time Reez racked up 10,000 followers and have been growing ever since. With support from renowned artists such as Hardwell, Afrojack, Nicky Romero and David Guetta, they have also worked on high profile collaborations with talent such as KSHMR & Bassjackers.
