Noon time on a Saturday is usually when dance music fans take refuge from the sun under their covers after a long Friday night. On a very recent Saturday, Trance music fans from the Eastern seaboard and abroad were feverishly mashing refresh on the browser at 12 to secure their spot at the 2nd Trance Unity this June 4th, 2016. The fabled Tier one was consumed by fans shortly after the release of tickets.
All this excitement for this event was not misplaced. The event will be held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada at the legendary Circus HD nightclub. This afterhours club being the previous host to major trance events like the 1st Trance Unity in 2015 and the yearly Circus NYE’s, it boasts Canada’s most true to life Funktion One sound system. This system will bedazzle your aural senses, we are talking about the whole 9 yards, speaker cabinets, amps, and sound processor.
Of course the venue is incredible but at the core of any event is the line up. Trance Unity does not disappoint offering 3 rooms filled with its own exciting line ups. Each room at Trance Unity will have a theme, Heaven, Hell, Earth. The biggest frustration for this event will be debating with yourself and within your group of friends who to see and at what time. What I can tell is that who ever you do decide to choose you will be in for some serious Trance. Each DJ is scheduled to play minimum of 2 hours, with this figure you better quickly snatch a ticket and pick your favorite artists you hear that night.

As a lover of uplift and progressive Trance I feel my place at Trance Unity will be in the Heaven room. With Alex M.O.R.P.H. at the very top of the line up in the heaven room its very hard to say no as I haven’t had the chance to experience his music live yet. Consequently, Ben Nicky, with his world renowned Headf**k mixes, is leading the Hell room line up on the poster. Having witnessed Ben Nicky at Dreamstate in San Bernadino not long ago, there is gonna be a lot of cardio required out of me to run back and forth between the rooms. In the Earth room, Dave Nadz & Leblanc interests me the most as I am a fan of their track Vertue with Paul Denton.
