It’s been eight and a half years since Scot Project last visited Toronto; a night when he played in the main room of our long lost Guvernment. But Genesis Entertainment is bringing him back on January 29th, 2016, as he returns to play at our beloved Toika.
By the early 1990s, Scot Project already held several residencies in clubs around his hometown Frankfurt, Germany. He began building his own studio and experimenting with hard trance. He released his first singe, X, 1995 and his second single, U (I Got A Feeling), the following year. In 2001, he was launched into international fame with his release of O (Overdrive). He toured around North America, Europe, Asia, and South America, making festival appearances at DanceValley, Trance Energy, Global Gathering, Love Parade, and Luminosity, as well as high profile clubs including Godskitchen, Zouk, Limelight, and Slinky.
In recent years, Scot Project experiments with new tracks of progressive, electro, techno, and tech-trance sounds. His appearance at Toika, with support from locals Flux and Jake Lawrence, is a stepping stone in what Genesis Entertainment has to offer Toronto. This Hamilton-based promoter has hosted many famous DJs within their local venue Club 77, and we welcome their spread out into our city! Tickets for the show start at $20 and can be purchased here.
