Los Angeles based producer Henry Fong is bringing in the new year with a heavy hitting original Turn It Up, out now via Musical Freedom Records. The track is steeped in Henry’s groovy high-energy sound. Starting off with a bouncy intro, Turn It Up builds up to a massive drop featuring springing bass, layered synths and expertly-crafted vocals courtesy of Mr. V.
Blessed with a killer set of dreadlocks and a penchant for surfing, Henry Fong also happens to be living the dream of a generation of aspiring DJs and producers. Henry’s musical ambitions began in college when he saved enough money to buy a pair of turntables and a mixer. He broke his way into DJing local bars and clubs and quickly taught himself how to produce through friends and tutorials. Building his signature sound over time, Fong’s hard work has resulted in multiple tracks charting in the Beatport Top 10 and releases on a variety of well known labels including OWSLA, Mad Decent, Revealed, Spinnin’, Hysteria and now for 2nd time Musical Freedom. 2015 proved to be a major year for the producer with the launch of his own record label Banzai Records and being dubbed as one of BBC Radio 1’s Future Stars of 2015.
