Fresh off the inaugural dates of his North American tour with Hotel Garuda, Amtrac releases his EP “Lost In Motion”, out now via Super Music Group.
An exploration into darker territories, Amtrac effortlessly walks the lines of atmospheric house and underground influences. From the rave-tinged Once Is Enough to the droning Long Nights, which features the producers’ own vocals, the four track release never fixates on one spot, all the while maintaining its impeccable balance.
With the titles of producer, musician, DJ and vocalist to his name, Amtrac’s versatility has become part of his calling card since the release of his debut LP “Came Along” in 2010. Born and raised in Morehead, Kentucky on an eclectic palate of Pink Floyd, The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers, his vast musical exposure would lead to an unrivaled diversity in his DJ sets as well as his own productions. Having become most regularly sought after for his remixes, carving his imprint onto a wide array of releases for Ellie Goulding, Duke Dumont, Para One and more.
