Last month, BBC Radio 1‘s Pete Tong did a live broadcast from a rooftop in LA as part of the special BBC Radio 1 “Live in LA” broadcast. The show started with MK throwing down an impressive DJ set, and ended with a surprise live performance from UK singer/songwriter Becky Hill. The duo debuted their collaboration Piece of Me, MK’s latest single off his forthcoming artist album.
Looking to reflect the emerging electronic music scene in LA, the live broadcast showed an outstanding lineup including artists such as Eric Prydz, Claude VonStroke, Eats Everything B2B Patrick Topping and Riton. The even culminated in a special B2B session, which featured everyone jumping on and off the decks.
