Rising star Electric Star Productions (ESP) has thrown down the gauntlet at Bassline Music Bar to bring Toronto a trance night like no other. Hard trance styles will battle Psytrance – and visit every style in between – at Tranceformers: The Trance Battles Continue on Friday, March 25th, 2016. Come support your favourite team and tear up the dance floor to some psychedelic beats as the Psytrancing Decepticons, the Hard Trance Autobots, and the Ambigious Aliens battle it out for supremacy!
Well-known for his amazing Mákina sets, DJ Davide Ferrara changes gears and dives into Psytrance for this event with a Goa Trance set this evening. He brings his extensive knowledge – and music collection! – to the decks. A regular in the Toronto dance scene, DJ Davide is a favourite for good reason. His pure energy and skill will help power the Psytrancing Decepticons so be prepared to get up and dance!
Also holding the battle line on the side of Psytrance is special guest MagicMushroom! A longtime supporter of Psytrance – starting at only 14 years old! – MagicMushroom has brought his unique style to Toronto from his native Portugal. With over 12 years of DJ experience, this Trance warrior has opened for some big names in the Psytrance world and will be hard to beat!
On the other side of the ring tonight, DJ Shok is representing the Hard Trance Autobots with a Vocal/Hard Trance set. With a reputation for genre-versatility in the Toronto EDM scene, DJ Shok is a powerhouse on the decks, and his astute ability to read the crowd guarantees a full dance floor.
Although known more for his Dance and Hardcore sets, DJ Fraktl will be bringing some Hard Trance to the dance floor this Friday. A fan of many diverse styles and a long-time rave supporter, he brings an unmistakable passion and intensity to every set, and this will be no exception!
Standing up for some of the lesser-known variations of Trance is Audi Étoffe, who will be bringing us some Progressive Hard Psy for the Ambigious Aliens. A rave veteran, Audi Étoffe dials it up and brings his own unique energy and love of the rave to every party he spins at.
Paul Savage will also be spinning for the Ambigious Alien team, and is delivering some Acid Trance to the mix. He is excited to dust off his favorite tracks and get everyone moving on the dance floor!
No matter which style of trance you like, there will be something for everyone! Cover is $5 before midnight and $10 after midnight. Doors open at 10pm. See you on the dance floor!
