Like walking into a mirror maze at the carnival the new Research & Development release RD008 shows three different faces of Chris Voro‘s A Universe Inside You. This one project sparked numerous influences that capture different expressions from the deep trance Voro track.
Within RD008 is the original Chris Voro track along with two other remixes by Micky Noise and Harmonic Rush. Diving into the release, it is not hard to see how the original track was able to inspire the minds of the artists. Dripping with deep psytrance elements the original track is dark but yet still very energetic, creating a very progressive offering that is easy to lose track of time to.
The Harmonic Rush Remix of A Universe Inside You is a more aggressive perspective on the melodic track, lots of grinding synth leads are paired with a powerful snare that snaps hard to grab your attention.
Micky Noise’s remix envisioned a darker alternative to the track creating great amount of tension like in a thriller movie. The synthetic voices in the remix accompany the dark feel of the track perfectly.
Research & Development has a deep connection with psytrance ranging from progressive to full on psy and psy tech. R&D is also welcomes melodic to dark psy, as well as goa to psy breaks. Lots of exciting psychedelic content from R&D, hope to see more to come in the near future.
