Members of the Toronto Rave Community and the Toronto Trance Family have been buzzing lately over the fast approaching Acoustic II Tour. With a little over two weeks before Above & Beyond take the stage at Massey Hall for their two back-to-back sold out shows, the trance trio revealed their lineup of vocalists who will be performing alongside them in Toronto and for the rest of their global tour.
The first two ladies invited to share the stage have shared their voice with us before by making frequent appearances throughout Above & Beyond’s lengthly discography. British singer-songwriter Zoë Johnston is most famous for her collaboration on the 2015 song We’re All We Need, a beautiful song that received a Grammy nomination for “Best Dance Recording” earlier this year, but Johnston has been lending her voice to the group over the last ten years. Fans will recognize her voice from many A&B releases, including: Good For Me, You Got To Go, Peace Of Mind, and Treasure. She was apart of Above & Beyond’s last Acoustic Tour three years ago and we are very pleased to see her return. Unlike Johnston, this will be Justine Suissa‘s first acoustical appearance. She is another British singer-songwriter well known for her collaborative work and vocals with OceanLab (or Above & Beyond presents OceanLab) and their 2008 debut album “Sirens Of The Sea”. Her most recent work includes Little Something found on the album “We Are All We Need” and OceanLab’s revival track Another Chance.
In addition to these two fan favourites, Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki are bringing along two new vocal talents to add to their shows. American artist Cobi has been posting behind-the-scenes footage of his vocal practices with Above & Beyond on his Facebook page, and British singer-songwriter Natalie Holmes made this comment after the new broke:
“I’ve been down in London rehearsing for something very special over the past few weeks. And here it is! I can’t wait to start this journey with Above & Beyond on their Acoustic II World Tour, along with the ridiculously lovely & talented band they’ve put together. It’s going to be such a life changing experience and I still can’t quite believe how lucky I am!”
Above & Beyond released this official statement along with the announcement:
“We’re super excited to have our good friends Justine and Zoë on board for these special shows and it’ll be a rare treat for our fans to see them perform together. Cobi and Natalie really blew us away with the quality of their voices and we can’t wait to introduce them to you all.”

Both Toronto shows are completely sold out – this isn’t an event you’ll want to miss. Still looking for a ticket? Check out TTF’s May 14th and May 15th ticket exchange program.
