On Saturday April 2nd, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences held the 45th annual Juno Awards in Calgary, Alberta. The awards recognize the best of Canadian music from the past year and winners of the night included Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Death From Above 1979, and more. Dim Mak’s Keys N Krates won the coveted “Dance Recording of The Year” award for their massive single Save Me (Feat Katy B). The track has surpassed 3 million Spotify plays and Pitchfork called it, “Not just the upper echelon of Katy B tracks, but also the top-tier of Keys N Krates’ catalog to date.” The news comes on the heels of a sold out hometown performance at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall, in support of their latest EP, “Midnite Mass”, which captivated the #1 spot on iTunes’ Dance Top Albums Canada Chart.

Since the EP’s January release, Keys N Krates have been performing live across North America. After enlisting Stooki Sound, Jesse Slayer, Hermitude, and Ganz, the guys set out on the Midnite Mass Tour. The dates included stops at venues such as Paradise Rock Club (Boston), Terminal 5 (New York City), Concord Music Hall (Chicago), The Fonda (Los Angeles), with several sold-out shows.

Additionally, Keys N Krates found time to drop the official music video for U Already Know. One of the strongest singles on “Midnite Mass”, the track has drawn praise from The Fader, Stereogum, This Song Is Sick, and several other publications.
