Tomac has been keeping busy lately with performances on AH.FM Progress In Motion 28 and at Trance Unity in his home city of Montreal. Pouring a tall cup of gasoline onto the smoldering embers, Tomac combines forces with APD featuring vocals from Simon Romano has a release out today on June 17th titled The Dawn. APD, born in 1996 hailing from Slovakia has been on the rise lately since his interest was caught into the trance genre early 2011. APD specializes in progressive and trance finding support from artists like Armin Van Buuren, Tritonal, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Manuel Le Saux, Aly & Fila, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Rank1, and Bobina alike.
The Dawn is a vocal trance track with unmistakable sounds from both artists. Simon Romano is a local of the Montreal area and has worked with Tomac in the past on a prior remixed track. The two are getting back together, alongside APD for a new release, The Dawn, bringing forward Simon’s vocal talent infused with trance from APD and Tomac. The track has an energetic intro leading into the smooth blissful vocals. The energy level of track is not apparent but is very tastefully found in the synths creating a very progressive build. My favorite element has to be the strong piano chords combined with the vocals which create a lot of depth into the track that pairs nicely with the delay.
You can get your copy of The Dawn on Beatport today the day of release following this link here. Be sure to follow and subscribe to Tomac and APD on social media for hit future releases!
