Save the date on July 15th, 2016, and infuse your weekend with some enthralling Trance beats! Join Electric Star Productions (ESP) as they host the fourth instalment of their popular Trance party series – Tranceformers: The Next Level Trance Battle. The Hard Trance Autobots and Psytrance Decepticons from Tranceformers: The Trance Battles Continue are back for another round in this ongoing genre battle. Over the last three Tranceformers events, growing attendance has demanded a larger venue. In response, this latest event will be held at Toronto’s Club 120! Prepare to dance up a storm and get your party on!
Spinning for the Hard Trance Autobots will be DJ Fraktl, a veteran of the Toronto rave scene who has worked with Toronto Hardcore Radio, East York Bounce Posse, as well as performing at several previous ESP events. His broad range of experience combined with exceptional crowd-reading skills creates a unique experience at every event he spins. Expect driving basslines and riveting melodies to compel you to the dancefloor!
Also joining the Hard Trance Autobots, DJ Decibel is a regular in the EDM scene and has over 16 years experience in the industry. He is looking forward to presenting an “Oldskool Hard Trance” set – a style this Dubstep, Electro, and breaks-throwing artist has not revisited in nearly a decade!
Completing the Autobots team, DJ Tinc will also be throwing down some Hard Trance. Known primarily for his Trance and Deep Techno, this progressive artist loves to bring his own brand of Middle Eastern and European-inspired beats to the dancefloor.
On the opposite side of the dancefloor, battling for the supremacy of Psytrance, Audi Étoffe will be joining the Psytrance Decepticons. A resident of Électroma and Velvet Underground, Audi is a regular in the Psytrance scene; expect some of his incredible signature beats to bring you to your feet. Always a treat to hear, his high energy mixes are impossible to sit out, burning up dancefloors across the city and taking three of his mixes to the #1 spot on Mixcloud’s Progressive Psytrance charts!
Also participating with the Decepticons is DJ Davide Ferrara. Distinguished for his Makina and Italodance sets and his extensive vinyl collection, DJ Davide also occasionally forays into the mysterious realm of Goa Trance. His skill and talent will carry listeners and dancers on a mystical journey through sound and spirit; an experience not to be missed!
Rounding out the Decepticon team, newcomer Djenerator will also be battling on the side of Psytrance. Although new to performing, Djenerator has been honing his skills on his own time for years, and been a longtime fan of the EDM scene. Currently focusing on Psytrance and UK/freeform Hardcore, Djenerator is excited to bring his skills to the decks and share his musical passion with the city.
