Looking for the best party to be at this weekend? Toronto’s very own Trance DJ Kris Morton will be hosting a Tiesto Classics Tribute Night at TOiKA on Friday, July 29, 2016. A resident of Circus Afterhours club in Montreal with Monkey Buzinezz (promoters of Trance Unity), Kris Morton is a recording artist with Outburst Records and has spun alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including John O’Callaghan, Simon Patterson, Arnej, Leon Bolier and others. Bringing almost 15 years of experience to the decks, he will certainly be able to do justice to the dance music legend!
Kris Morton first took up DJing in 2002 and has been building his reputation in the EDM scene for some time now. Along his journey from his hometown roots in Whistler, BC, to Toronto, the city he now calls home, he has rocked dance floors both nationally and internationally, in Australia, Europe, Vancouver, and Montreal. His genre versatility and keen ability to read crowds best intertwine during extended sets, which allow Kris to showcase his appreciable talent for being able to play the perfect track at the perfect moment.
Kris is excited to return to TOiKA, and is quoted saying, “TOIKA is like a home to me. I was the first DJ to perform here when it opened. 4 years later and I still can’t get enough of it”. Some tracks you can expect to hear Friday Night will include: Flight 643, Traffic, Sparkles, In My Memory, Love Comes Again, Nyana, Parade of the Athletes, Obsession, Walking on Clouds, Lethal Industry, Elements of Life, 10 Seconds Before Sunrise, Just Be, Adagio for Strings, Suburban Train, A Tear in the Open, UR Everything, In the Dark, He’s a Pirate, Dance 4 Life, among others.

Drink specials will be in effect, and table and bottle service can be reserved by calling or emailing TOiKA. This will be a 19+ event, and ID will be required.
