All Day I Dream‘s musical journey arrives in Toronto on July 17th, 2016. Gently blossoming and growing since 2011 ADID has steadily been spreading a certain musical warmth, long forgotten in the clubs and festivals. Audiences become captive to the hypnotic, dreamlike sound the melodies weave while still moving incessantly to the infectious grooves. Look around and you’ll see a sea of smiling faces. Some with eyes closed. Many lost in a moment.
The event’s production and design also enhances these feelings. Long swathes of material float gently above the dance floor. Flowers adorn pagoda like structures while lanterns light the early evening air and living walls. A welcoming environment to spend time in.
Since it’s inception the event, as well as the label, has focused on a more musical vision. Emotive strings and atmospheric soundscapes engage and sooth the listener. Born on a rooftop in Brooklyn in 2011 ADID quickly gained popularity in New York, and, from that moment on started spreading to all corners of the World. From Barcelona to Beirut. London to Los Angeles. Sydney to San Francisco. All Day I Dream has continuously built a loyal following of devoted music loving fans.
Lee Burridge will be joined on the day by his favourite studio guru, Matthew Dekay. Also joining the duo will be ADID family member, Yokoo. Each bringing their own distinctive feeling to the day. You can expect a roller coaster ride of musical love.
