Welcome to October in Toronto! As the days darken and the leaves turn colour, Halloween season kicks into high gear as a time to come as you aren’t: to explore change, enjoy the changing of the seasons, and take in some amazing music at some spectacular events. This Saturday, October 29th, Organic Family will weave their own seasonal musical narrative – presenting one of the biggest Psytrance events Toronto has ever seen. A phenomenal visual artist and stunning deco will set a mystical atmosphere on this most auspicious of nights, and a full frequency sound system with stereo separation will ensure a top-notch audio experience as this dedicated promotional group’s assembled lineup of highly talented Psytrance DJs serve as guides and storytellers to bring this city a beautifully psychedelic Halloween experience: The Night In Between.

Initiating this musical journey is Organic Family resident, Vidhishada. Simple designs and repetitive elements will craft the beginning of the story. Spinning musical patterns that will multiply and expand, becoming increasingly more complex, Vidhishada’s mandala-like set will resonate outward, connecting dancers with themselves, and bringing awareness of self and through music to ready listeners and invite them further down the path.

Taking the lead from Vishashada to continue the night’s flow, another Organic Family resident, Playdifferent, will add to the environment through tonal soundscapes and build an organic and engaging environment. Playdifferent’s active and alluring rhythms will captivate, inspiring connection and calling dancers to the floor to participate in the journey together.

Visiting the city from the Ukraine, Already Maged will bring unique expertise and flair to the decks, continuing the sojourn into deeper and ever-more-elaborate musical ventures. Already Maged’s skillful manipulation of sound and frequency will fill the outlines and environments fabricated by the previous artists and create fantastical elements to populate them. Evoking images and emotions, this artist’s intricate cadences will entrance and delight.

Hailing from Montreal, Aio‘s fresh sound and unexpected transitions will introduce a new chapter of The Night In Between’s story. Aio’s haunting accent vocals and deep driving bass lines induce an ethereal effect, transfixing audiences. This musical guide will travel high and low, soaring on lifting melodies then dipping in floor-crawling growls in an intensely immersive experience.

The concluding artist of the night and a resident of both Organic Family and the Shakti Collective, Plan B will conduct the final chapter of this Psytrance story. A veteran of many events, Plan B’s depth of experience is clear in the construction of complex rhythms that rearrange, dissolve, and reappear. Reaching previously unplumbed depths of perception, this final piece will complete the puzzle, and bring the night to a close.

VJ Neuronaut will also be joining this richly adept lineup to facilitate a seamless joining of visual and sound art for this night. Dedicated to creating a smoothly coherent psychedelic experience, Neuronaut has built atmospheres and environments for some of the most respected Psytrance initiatives in the country. With a resume that includes stage management for Eclipse and Open Mind festivals, Pandemonium festival, and working on the legendary Crash Stage at Harvest Festival in 2015, Neuronaut is well-equipped to deliver a visual experience like none other.

The venue at 237 Sackville St will open its doors at 10pm. Tickets are available here until 6pm on October 29th for 30$, or 35$ at the door after midnight. Out of town attendees may receive a discount with valid ID. Come share the journey with Organic Family, open your mind to a new experience this Halloween season, and let your spirit dance.

See you In Between!
