Trance Sessions Toronto has been working hard to bring Toronto the best the Trance genre has to offer, with nights devoted to specific subgenres such as Trancemergency, which showcased higher bpm trance like progressive and Psytrance, which was 138+ bpm. Trance Sessions has also sponsored events devoted to various groups and artists who have contributed significantly to the genre, like Oceanlab and Anjunabeats. Continuing in this vein, Trance Sessions and Populus (formerly Toika) partner on November 19th, 2016 to present Neptune Project in their first open to close set in Toronto.
This duo, composed of Dan Willis and Jules Moyce, hails from the UK and have built a solid reputation around their unique vintage production sound and their tendency to spin extended sets – referred to by their fans as “ultimate journ[ies]” into trance.
In 2009, Armin van Buuren declared Neptune Project’s track, Aztec, as his favourite production that year, catapulting their name towards the top. Continuing their ascent in the world of Trance, Neptune Project has gone on to work with many other big names in the industry, releasing on labels like Anjunabeats, Armada, Subculture and Future Sound of Egypt and remixing for Above & Beyond, Paul Van Dyk, and Aly & Fila.
Doors open at 10PM for this 19+ event. Get your ticket early here and be sure to visit the event page for further information. Don’t miss this amazing trance journey!
