EVENT PREVIEW: Trance Sessions Toronto presents: A Tribute Night to FSOE @ Populus (formerly Toika) – 04-02-2017

Trance Sessions Toronto is continuing their recent successful run with A Tribute Night to FSOE, set to take place at Populus (formerly Toika), Saturday, February 4th, 2017. A string of local DJs will be dedicating this night to the record label Future Sound of Egypt, owned by artists Aly & Fila.

The rise of this trance duo from Egypt has been due in part to their very successful radio/podcast that shares their label name: Future Sound of Egypt. In celebration of their 300th episode, Aly and Fila organized FSOE300, a now-turned yearly international tour with many stops worldwide. As a tribute to this giant in the trance genre, Trance Sessions Toronto and Populus have joined to host a night devoted to the music and artists of Future Sound of Egypt.

Andy Teixeira will be heading the line-up for this event. Specializing in progressive and trance sounds, and having established a meaningful presence in Toronto’s EDM community, Andy is now focusing more on developing his reputation as a producer. He can be found spinning at Toronto dance music hot spots including The Mod Club, Coda, The Hoxton, Red Nightclub, NEST, and even Sundance Music Festival.

Patrick Win and Brian D. Longmire will also take a turn at the decks, returning to Populus in support of Toronto Trance Sessions. They will be joined by Buffalo native M45 (Nick Brzezinski), for this event. Nick has closed events for big Trance artists like Kyau and Albert, Gareth Emery and even Aly and Fila. Doors open at 10pm for this 19+ event, and $5 cover all night!
