Pop the champagne because CODA is celebrating three vibrant years in the Toronto music circuit with deep house shaman YokoO! On Thursday, January 28, join Toronto’s foremost venue in underground dance music as they rejoice over another successful year in curating hundreds of local and international acts. In order to beat the drum on this special occasion, CODA has enlisted the support of a DJ who’s spirited approach to music reflects that of the venue itself. Hailing from Germany, YokoO’s ethereal sound has turned the heads of many, landing him on such prominent labels as All Day I Dream, Get Physical, and Plastic City. Natural on-stage energy and rare melodic combinations are YokoO’s calling cards, each of which can be expected on this momentous evening. Plus, opening the night are two gifted Canadian duos: Montreal’s In2Deep and Toronto’s Talal & Zoi.
