EVENT PREVIEW: Trance Sessions Toronto presents Vinyl Trance Classics with Kris Morton OTC @ Populus on 10-03-17

Friday, March 10th, 2017 will bring Toronto another amazing night of trance, courtesy of Trance Sessions Toronto and Populus. Kris Morton will be performing an open-to-close Vinyl Trance Classics set not to be missed!

Veteran Toronto DJ Kris Morton already has several OTC shows under his belt and is well aware of the joys and difficulties inherent in performing these marathon sets. No stranger to navigating the all-important line between having the freedom to design the night’s journey and meeting the preferences and expectations of the attending crowd, Morton enjoys the challenge of living in the moment and creating that perfect connection between the dance floor and the music.

Those who follow the Trance or Techno scene may have encountered Morton previously at Populus, on the bill for previous Trance Sessions events, or caught him spinning at Comfort Zone or Circus Afterhours. Nearly 15 years of experience behind the decks have given Morton the opportunity to share the stage with trace legends like John O’Callaghan, John Fleming, Astrix, and Simon Patterson. His genre versatility, skill, and technique infuse life and passion into his sets and Vinyl Trance Classics night will be no exception!

Bringing 6 hours of pure vinyl sound to Toronto on March 10th, Morton is sharing his trance record collection for the first time. Check out the event page for his complete list, and let him know what you want to hear him play! For those who miss that old-school sound and those who have never heard a vinyl set, Populus, with its recently tuned sound system, is the answer to your cravings! Doors open at 10pm for this 19+ event. Cover is only $5, so treat yourself to a Trance night!
