It’s been well over a year since the Anjunabeats superstars united together for their debut North American Tour that kicked off in our city. Because of the great success from their first run, the label announced a second NA tour that started early spring 2017. Without any publicly released lineup, presale for the Toronto show sold out within minutes with limited general admission tickets still available. It has been a slow artist reveal leading up to our local show inside Rebel on April 7th, but it was worth the wait. Three of the four performing Anjuna artists are familiar faces from last year’s event. Excited fans who were there in attendance know the high quality show they will return to our city with.

The first artist announcement happened the same day tickets were released. Andrew Bayer and Ilan Bluestone will return to the North American tour, but this time as a couple as they will be playing a back-to-back set. Fan have seen this type of performance from the boys before; a #BayerStone b2b was part of the lineup at Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 200 (ABGT 200) last fall. Timed with the tour announcement, the Anjunabeats label released Destiny, a Bayer and Bluestone collaboration:
Jason Ross is the other returning artist to the NA tour. Ross has been a huge success since signing to the label in 2014. This past year alone he has released some incredible original and collaborative tunes that will hopefully be featured inside Rebel. He was also in charge of mixing the compilation series “Anjunabeats Worldwide 06” and was the solo headliner in the Anjunabeats Worldwide 06 Tour last fall.
The new face to the lineup is British artist Oliver Smith. His Anjunabeats career began as part of a duo act from 2003 until 2006; he has remained on the label as a solo artist since with a more progressive and lower tempo style. Having been with the label for so long, Smith is the only artist, other than the owners Above & Beyond, to be included on every single Anjunabeats Volume Compilation to date.
