EVENT PREVIEW: Trance Sessions presents Manuel Le Saux, Allen Watts & Monoverse at Populus 22-04-17

The multi headliner shows continue to come thick and fast for the Toronto Trance Family this Spring. Hot on the heels of their Anjuna and FSOE tribute nights, this time uplifting fans will be trance-ported to paradise by Trance Sessions. This Saturday, April 22nd, 2017, Trance Sessions presents not one, not two, but THREE Toronto trance debuts at Populus. These are some of the hottest names in trance, names that the Toronto trance faithful have been whispering and hoping for, for the past couple of years now.

First in the hot seat is an exciting prospect from south of the border, New Jersey’s own Santos Torres, more popularly known as Monoverse. Bursting onto the trance scene in the last 3 years, this talented producer will be no stranger to many of you. This guy has seen support from the biggest names in the genre, from Armin Van Buuren to Aly and Fila, Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz and many many more. He storms into Toronto on fire after just playing the huge FSOE Weekender in Amsterdam and with more huge shows lined up this summer including the famed Luminosity Beach Festival. Some of the best that Monoverse has to offer can of course be found on his excellent radio show; Monoverse Radio airs on the second and fourth Monday of every month on Afterhours.fm so be sure to check it out.

The second debutant that has Toronto buzzing, is none other than Allen Watts, hailing from the trance mecca of Holland. Having established himself in such a short time, Alle Wagt (his real name) is an uplifting staple now in 2017. He has released on labels such as Armada, Blackhole Recordings, Monster Tunes, Kearnage Recordings, Trance-AllStars, Abora, and Defcon Recordings, and has played the beloved Luminosity Beach Festival to the delight of many. There can be absolutely no doubt about the talent that he brings to the studio. Uplifting enthusiasts will no doubt be excited to hear tracks like Gravity, Flashback , Breakthrough and his latest banger Polarize, pound through the speakers in the hallowed halls of Populous.

Last, but certainly not least of the headliners to entrance us on this night, is the one and only Manuel Le Saux. Perhaps he is the most anticipated name of the night as his name has been suggested to local promoters for a few years now. Finally our patience has been rewarded by the impressive Trance Sessions who has been blowing us away with solid booking after solid booking. Manuel comes to us from Italy and has been all over the world spreading his beautiful and driving brand of uplifting trance. Finally it is Toronto’s turn. He is no stranger to any of the top radio shows like FSOE or ASOT and has remixed the likes of Armin and Ferry Corsten just to name a few. His show Extrema Radio show has become iconic in the trance scene and IN FACT this event is part of his EXTREMA RADIO 500 world tour, as he celebrates the 500th episode with the trance families around the world. Of course a multi headliner trance show seems incomplete without support from one of our own. This time Toronto’s rising star Brian Longmire joins this stellar cast as a tasty supporting act. No stranger to Populus as he has previously blessed us with his sounds at Trance Sessions events, and has even opened for Airwave! Brian will be in his element as he is able to go proper uplifting tonight, so expect it to be extra cheeky from the Durham region midfield maestro. Be on the lookout for a possible dish from Nando’s!
