Forever ’99: Halloween Freakout, presented by Prozzak, is the event you want to be at this Halloween. Remember the late 90s? That’s around the time Canadian pop music duo Prozzak caught the heart of many enthusiastic pre-teens via MuchMusic. Well, the 90s called, and they will be making a special appearance this season! Halloween Freakout is the only place you will find a unique mix of two eras coming together as one. DESTINY Events, Activate, and X1 Creative have successfully teamed up to present to you this event that will blend classic and cutting-edge. Immerse yourself in not just great electronic music, but also a variety of fun activities such as go-karting, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, and a massive professional haunted house, which are open all night long. There will also be a best Halloween costume contest!
This one-of-a-kind event will feature a total of twenty-two local and international DJs covering several major EDM genres: techno, bass, house, and trance. There will be three rooms with different sounds for attendees to float between, with big name artists like Green Velvet, Christopher Lawrence, Prozzak, Culture Shock, Micky Finn, Mark Oliver, and Addy, as well as support from other DJs such as Evan G, Hydee, Jayforce, Lush, Marcus Visionary, Miz Megs, Mr. Brown, Ovi M , Randomdoug, Raving Taco, DJ Ry, Sniper, Tharen, Ticky Ty, and Wess. And let’s not forget about the amazing 30-foot-long fire breathing dragon that will be making a grand appearance. The Heavy Meta Dragon has just returned from its Burning Man adventures, and you definitely don’t want to miss it in action this Halloween!
Forever ’99 Halloween Freakout takes place this upcoming Halloween weekend on Saturday, October 28, from 9pm until 4am. It is hosted just northwest of the city at 401 Mini Indy Go-Karts, next to the Toronto Pearson International Airport. The venue is easily accessible by car or by TTC. It is a 19+ event so don’t forget to bring your ID! Advanced tickets are currently available at the Tier 2 price of $44.25 plus service fees and taxes.
