In the early days of their career, Montreal’s Adventure Club dazzled dance floors with two standout tracks from chanteuse Yuna with Gold and Lullabies, and then again with their debut album “RED // BLUE (BMG)” in late 2016. Earlier this summer, the duo–who is Christian Srigley and Leighton James–returned with a brand new remix of Kehlani‘s sultry Undercover which garnered Adventure Club their first-ever Grammy Nomination.
Nominated for “Best Remixed Recording” alongside Louis Vega, SMLE, Four Tet and Latroit, theAdventure Club remix has received support from various touchstone outlets in the electronic dance music community including Dancing Astronaut, Trap Nation, DJ Times and more, bringing the seductive vocals of Kehlani to a new audience. “When it comes to remixing a song, we’ve always been overly picky with our choices,” says the duo. “Kehlani’s vocals are truly inspiring, and made it so easy for us to opt for an Adventure Club classic sound on this one.”
Adventure Club first emerged in 2010 and embarked on a wild ride to the upper echelon of electronic music. Along the way, their breakout hit Wonder [feat. Kite String Tangle] from the 2013 debut EP “Calling All Heroes” has amassed over 11.9 million Spotify streams and earned a Gold certification in Canada. Meanwhile, they notched 10 HypeMachine #1’s, syncs on MTV‘s “Teen Wolf” and “Eye Candy,” and created high-profile remixes for Brand New, Thrice, Alexisonfire, and Metric as well as collaborating with Krewella on the hit Rise & Fall. In addition to packing houses on their headline “Superheroes Anonymous”and “Made In Canada” tours, they’ve ignited stages at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra Music Festival and many more. Their full-length debut album “RED // BLUE” – featuring cuts like Firestorm (feat. Sara Diamond), Forever [feat.
