It has been said that ‘trance is a feeling’ but have you ever truly experienced this feeling in your heart? Toronto! Isn’t it about time our city experienced another pure, angelic night of trance? After a stomping night of progressive psytrance with the legendary Christopher Lawrence last month, Trance Sessions is back with their InTheDark series, this time with Factor B. Factor B’s Canadian debut will be held at One Loft at 292 College Street in Toronto, a venue known for its incredible sound quality and intimate DJ booth setup. One Loft is the perfect setting for the pure trance vibes that are sure to be delivered by Factor B on Saturday, May 26th. This show is guaranteed to put a smile on the face of many local trance lovers.

Brendan Blatt, aka Factor B, is an Australian music producer and DJ who first came into the spotlight in 2014. He has been delivering nothing but pure bliss through record labels like FSOE Recordings, Armada, Pure Trance, Blue Soho Recordings, and more. The man specializes in uplifting trance and when he takes over the decks for this party, I can confirm there will be teardrops on the dancefloor. I will not lie, he is one of my favorite uplifting trance producers. I follow him regularly and every time I listen to one of his sets I get emotional. Having him perform an extended set in our area is definitely a blessing from heaven. Wondering what tracks we can expect from Factor B, or as people are affectionately calling him, Factor Bae? Some of you probably have a mental wish-list ready. I think we can expect some of his solo creations such as Luna Therapy, Something like a Cure, and Liberator as well as a handful of his masterfully remixed tracks including The Thrillseekers The Last time, Solarstone and Scott Bond The Redline Highway and more.

We should also expect to hear James’ track with Cat Martin, White Rooms, which was recently released on FSOE Recordings, dropped at this event.

If you’d like to go on a journey to trance heaven, check out Factor B’s set recorded at Trance Sanctuary in March 2018.

Alongside Factor B we are super excited to have Trance Sessions’ resident DJs Brian Longmire and M45 on the support lineup. We have seen them quite a few times playing back-to-back, however, this time we will be seeing them each taking over the decks solo.

I spoke with Nick Brzezinski aka M45 about the event, and he said he’ll be starting out with some progressive and slowly moving towards uplifting trance. He even said he will mix in some classics and his set “is definitely gonna make you want to dance and drink so you’re ready for Factor B.” Nick always does a stellar job of spinning events for Trance Sessions, and I’m sure this night will be no different. Make sure you don’t miss M45 on the decks.

What can I say about Brian Longmire that we don’t already know?  The always-smiling Toronto-based trance-lover-turned-DJ definitely has the knowledge and skill to deliver a wicked set for the crowd because he truly feels and understands trance music as deeply as any trance fan. You can find Brian on the dance floor when he’s not on the decks, enjoying all that the night has to offer.

Don’t you think life has been stressful lately? Since summer is finally here, we should relax and get lost in a magical world of trance music, where we release ourselves to the melodic breakdowns. Stop thinking about it! Click here to grab your tickets now. Let’s get lost in the music together.

Team EDM TOR will be there to cover the action, and our manager and photographer Adele will be there photographing all of the memorable trance moments. Be sure say “Hi!” to us and ask Adele to take your picture for the official photo album on Facebook. See you all there, trance family!
