There is only one place to be in Toronto this Saturday night! Get ready to travel back in time on September 22 to the golden era of Eurodance, Much Music and warehouse raves for Electric Star Productions’ (ESP) LAST edition of Dance Night ‘95 at Round.
Having thoroughly enjoyed myself at previous Dance Night ’95 events, I am equally thrilled to attend this latest event – and sad to bid farewell to fantastic series of parties that have given me some truly unforgettable memories. If Ace the Base songs are littered through your playlist and you secretly (or not so secretly) sing along to Marky Mark and MC Hammer when they play on the radio, come get your 90’s music fix at Round on Saturday – you won’t be disappointed! Themed dress is encouraged, so dig those neon colours out of your closet, grab some glow sticks and come dressed to party like its 1995 (again) because there will be prizes awarded for Best 90’s Outfit! There will even be a photo booth area – Polaroid-style – to capture a snap of your night as a sweet souvenir.
Electric Star Productions will be welcoming back residents DJ Shok, Paul Savage, and DJ Fraktl, who will be controlling the decks and guiding the evening’s musical experience. They will be joined by special guests Tranzit and DJ DTM. In the wake of Aqua‘s Toronto tour, I fully expect to hear a few of their tunes (Come on, Barbie Girl!), along with other iconic 90’s artists like Corona, Eiffel 65, The Prodigy, Emjay, Scooter, BKS, Moby, DJ Tiesto and Whigfield.
From primetime Euro anthems to Trance, House and Electronica, these tune masters and their impressive dance selections are guaranteed to keep you grooving to your favourite 90’s hits til morning!
