Calling all degenerates! Trance Sessions is back and bringing us The Degenerate himself, Sean Tyas! He will be on deck inside ONE LOFT on November 9th, 2018 for a special extended set alongside his brother, Ryan Tyas. This event also happens to fall on Sean Tyas’ birthday, and what better way to celebrate?! These two brothers will be giving us a night to remember in the form of a family affair – trance fans won’t want to miss this.
I’m quite excited to see what Ryan has in store for us – I had no idea that Sean Tyas’ brother was also a DJ and I’ve since read that witnessing them playing at the same event is an experience to behold. It’s hard to find information on the guy, so I think it’s safe to say that Toronto is lucky to find him on the bill.
Sean Tyas is an American DJ and producer based in Switzerland. He broke into the scene in 2006 and quickly rose in the ranks as one of the most recognizable names in trance. His sets incorporate a complimentary mix of melodic uplift and driving “in your face” beats that leave your feet tired and your heart happy at the end of the night – a perfect combination for any trance fan.
Last time Sean was in the city, I had an absolute blast. One thing that stood out about him was the look of sheer joy on his face the entire show. It’s obvious he loves what he does, and that makes a world of difference to me. Check out one of his recent marathon sets below, where he goes “full throttle” for six hours (his words!):
