For the next installment of Electric Escape’s U4RIA: Trance Collective, Jordan Suckley will be returning to Nest on Friday, August 9, 2019. He will be joined by Electric Escape’s DeeCee and A.D. the Kid as support. We are so fortunate to have him back after his incredible extended set back in January. This time he will be treating us to one of his exclusive 3FECT sets which, so far, has been reserved for the festival circuit. Being in such an intimate setting, we will get a closeup look into Suckley’s genius 3FECT concept as seen below:
England’s Jordan Suckley is a man of many faces: DJ, producer, radio host, and label boss. With a career spanning the last decade, he has made a name for himself in the trance world with a residency at BBC Radio 1, releases on Armada, Garuda, Black Hole and more, and as of 2014 established his own record label, Damaged. This summer he has been busy touring the EU with notable stops at Luminosity Beach Festival and Tomorrowland, but on Friday, August 9 he will be making his way to Toronto for something completely different. First debuted at Dreamstate SoCal 2017, Suckley’s 3FECT concept explores the art of DJing, including live mashups, scratching, looping and other effects across multiple decks resulting in what can only be described as absolute chaos. His 3FECT sets, so far, have been reserved for special occasions on the festival circuit, but this year Suckley has begun to explore moving to the club scene. Performing this type of set in a smaller club setting will allow the audience to fully immerse themselves and even catch a glimpse of what’s going on behind the decks. Electric Escape’s own DeeCee will be one of the supporting DJs for the night. If you’ve been to any of the U4RIA events in the past you are no doubt familiar with DeeCee and his incredible presence in the Toronto scene. When I walk into a club when he is on stage my energy level immediately dials up to a whole new level. We can always count on him set the tone for the night. Also as support for the night, we are fortunate to have Toronto’s own A.D. the Kid behind the decks. Come early, and stay late as our local talents will have us all tearing up the dance floor, guaranteed.
