On Friday, October 25, 2019, Trance Sessions delivers once again with an incredible Halloween celebration that is not to be missed! The Thrillseekers returns to Toronto almost exactly one year after 2018’s all-nighter for a special open-to-close set showcasing an exclusive preview of his new Hydra album. Starting at 10 pm, ONE LOFT we will be treated to an epic journey through all of Steve’s aliases until the club closes at 4:30 am. I can assure you it is going to be pure magic.
Steve Helstrip, aka The Thrillseekers, has been a major player in the trance scene his first single, Synaesthesia, was released in 1999. He followed this up with a vocal version the following year, Synaesthesia (Fly Away), featuring the talents of Sheryl Deane. Over the years he has produced some of the most incredible euphoria-inducing, emotionally-heavy uplifters such as Amber (as Hydra), Affinity, The Last Time and How Will I Know with Stine Grove. In 2016, he released a full-length artist album titled “Escape” that features some of his most incredible tracks and resulting in an hour of pure bliss. He has remixed tracks by Armin van Buuren and Tiesto, and co-produced tracks with Chicane and Ferry Corsten. This past June he debuted his most recent collaboration with fellow uplifter, Factor B, live at Luminosity Beach Festival. He has worked under a number of different aliases over the years, including En Motion, Insigma, Rapid Eye, Hydra, Black Lace and Sunstroke Project, and hopefully, he will delve deep into his back catalogue as the night progresses. Last year when he was in Toronto, he took us on such an unbelievably beautiful journey from start to finish, evolving over the course of the night and hitting right in the feels.
