EVENT PREVIEW: Standerwick @ Forbidden City 22-11-19

This Friday, Electric Escape and INTOK Entertainment present another instalment of U4RIA, featuring trance powerhouse Standerwick. He makes his return to Toronto at the city’s newest venue, Forbidden City. The last time Standerwick was in the city was back in 2018 when he played U4RIA Trance Festival.

Since then, he has been touring the world making all of the major stops. This summer he was featured on the ASOT 900 line up, he joined Gareth Emery in Ibiza to play at one of Gareth’s famous Laser Face shows and like many other DJ’s he is coming fresh off of a performance at Amsterdam Dance Event. The day after his show here in Toronto, he will make his way to Dreamstate SoCal performing under his alias, Skypatrol, with Reorder. Also, for all of the music producers out there, he recently put out a sample pack full of production toys called, Trance Inception. It’s clear that Standerwick has been very busy between shows and the studio, we are delighted to have him back and can’t wait to see what he has in store this time!

As direct support this Friday, November 22nd, we have a Toronto favourite, DeeCee. He is coming fresh off of a set inside Rebel as part of one of the biggest trance line ups this city has seen all year, including: Aly & Fila, Markus Schulz, Ruben De Ronde and Estiva. DeeCee has always shown his ability to play a diverse range of tracks to keep a room full of energy and deliver proper vibes. Make sure to show up early to get the full experience.

Hitting the decks as the local support is A.D. The Kid. He is a U4RIA veteran, with tons of experience on their stage, expect to hear a solid set. A.D The Kid is coming off of some major books alongside the likes of, Mark Sixma and Oliver Smith. He is one of Toronto’s fastest-growing talents and you won’t want to miss his set this Friday.
