If you are looking for a proper old-school rave to close out the month of May, you will not want to miss this event. After a date and venue change, the long-awaited return of Irish tech-trance master, Sneijder, is here. Presented by Sleepless Events, the night will feature a full lineup of local Trance Family Canada twitch stream regulars including TJO, Jay Mav, Ryan Gentry, and Johnny Dunlop in addition to a 3-hour extended set by Sneijder. Last time he was in town he performed a legendary 4-hour set at One Loft and Tranceported was there to experience it. This time he is taking over a warehouse location northwest of downtown. If you love hard-hitting beats, euphoric feels, and dancing until the sun rises, this is an event you will not want to miss.
Known for his uncanny ability to fuse the darkness of tech trance with the euphoria of uplifting, Sneijder is at the top of his game. He has been smashing 2022 with incredible release after incredible release. His collaboration with Thomas Bronzwaer, Into The Light, was featured on A State of Trance 2022 (mixed by Armin van Buuren) and his single, Bring The Noize, has been absolutely destroying the dance floor. With releases on Black Hole Recordings, FSOE, and Subculture this year, he shows no sign of slowing down. In addition to his own career, he continues to cultivate all things dark, original and dance-floor oriented with his label Afterdark. With the summer season underway, Sneijder has a full line up of festivals and solo gigs including the iconic Luminosity Beach Festival, a new installment of Insomniac‘s Dreamstate series, Dreamstate Harbour, and a 4-hour extended set in Buenos Aires – the site of his iconic “Afterdark 001”. His most recent release on FSOE, Magika, is a beauty of an uplifter clocking it at 140bpm. With hard-hitting up-tempo beats, dark moody bass, and euphoric uplifting melodies, this Emerson Ave warehouse is going to turn into a proper rave.
