In March 2010, Canadian DJ/Producer Max Graham embarked on another chapter of his storied career, with the advent of his hit weekly trance and progressive show Cycles Radio. This two hour weekly show has been taking fans on a journey through the trance and progressive spectrum, presenting the best in cutting edge electronic musical innovation and art. Three years later the legend himself is celebrating 150 episodes right here in Toronto at Mod Club this Friday, February 28th!!!
Tickets can be purchased online here: http://www.wantickets.com/Events/ShowEvent.aspx?eventId=147748
Brought to you by the on-fire Ozmozis team, this event is possibly the year’s biggest to date. Furthermore, internet dance music titans Digitally Imported Radio will be joining us to present a live 6 hour broadcast of this musical journey to the four corners of the globe, where thousands of Cycles fans will join the Toronto faithful.
As if that wasn’t enough, Max Graham will be accompanied on the business side of the decks by fellow trance all-star Mark Sherry (remixer of Max’s smash hit The Evil ID) from the UK and Protoculture from South Africa!!!!! Each of these musical assassins needs little introduction. Each household name has a strong following for their respective sounds, and supported heavily by the dance music elite. Mark’s ‘Outburst Radioshow’ goes out weekly as a 2 hour long show on 20 of the top internet radio stations across the globe and on iTunes, as does ‘Natural Selections,’ a one hour weekly trance fest by Protoculture.
Max Graham – The Evil ID (Mark Sherry Remix)
This night will take you all over the trance map, with Protoculture’s famous uplifting melodic style, Mark Sherry’s pounding energetic tech-trance basslines and Max Graham, himself, to cover the evolving genre in such a complete manner as only Canada’s dance ambassador knows how.
As outlined on the sleek revamped Max Graham website… “Max Graham is not one to stick to a single genre of music, he approaches each track as puzzle piece to be combined with others to create a vibe, each one is unique and plays an important role in the overall story. With the Cycles series Graham keeps true to his method and achieves this with a diverse selection of music.”
With the most recent release in his Cycles compilation series, Cycles 5, and the hallmark Cycles radio show, the true evolving and diverse nature of trance is demonstrated. Come find out what Cycles is all about, join us for Toronto’s biggest trance party of the year!!
