Notable electro DJ and producer Clockwork is back again with his new big-room single Champion, out already on Dim Mak Records. Champion was out just in time for the annual celebration of all things electronic music, namely Miami Music Week. This year, Clockwork played at both the Dim Mak Beach Party on Wednesday, March 26th, 2014 at the Raleigh Hotel, and at Rage the Night Away on Thursday March 27th, 2014 at Story, in addition to playing at Ultra Music Festival.
Champion follows up multiple releases from Clockwork last year on Dim Mak Records. His single Blitz, his anticipated “Surge EP” that hit #1 on the Beatport Electro House Top 100 chart and #4 on Beatport’s Top 100 Releases, and the corresponding “Surge Remixes EP” featuring the hit single Surge with vocalist Wynter Gordon. He also saw huge radio success with this collaboration with Felix Cartal The Fire featuring Madame Buttons.
This past year has also seen Clockwork performing at some of the biggest music festivals around the world, including Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Electric Zoo, Hard Summer in Los Angeles, and the Dim Mak Up All Night Stage at the inaugural TomorrowWorld. Clockwork has also recently launched his mix series Workshop, which you can check out on Soundcloud.
Clockwork’s distinctive, bass-heavy, big room sound has helped him gain support from the likes of Tiësto, Steve Angello, Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, and everyone in between. His DJ sets are always as high energy and innovative as his productions, helping him earn international tours as well as top billing on the world’s premier electronic music festivals.
